Todd D. Ballard v. Hon. John A. Zottola

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF PENNSYLVANIA WESTERN DISTRICT

February 7, 2012

TODD D. BALLARD, PETITIONER
v.
HON. JOHN A. ZOTTOLA, COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY, RESPONDENT

Per curiam.

ORDER

AND NOW, this 7th day of February, 2012, the Application for Leave to File Original Process and the Petition for Writ of Mandamus are DISMISSED. See Commonwealth v. Reid, 642 A.2d 453 (Pa. 1994) (hybrid representation improper). The Prothonotary is directed to forward these filings to counsel of record. It is observed that Petitioner has presented filings in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County commencing in January 2010 that are apparently unadjudicated. Additionally, the docket does not reflect any activity on appointed counsel's part since the date of appointment.

The Prothonotary to strike the name of the jurist from the caption.

Madame Justice Orie Melvin did not participate in the consideration or decision of this matter.
