IN THE SUPREME COURT OF PENNSYLVANIA MIDDLE DISTRICT
November 24, 2009
IN RE: THE HONORABLE ANN H. LOKUTA
PETITION OF: ANN H. LOKUTA, JUDGE
AND NOW, this 24th day of November, 2009, the Application for Extraordinary Relief under Pa.R.A.P. 3309 and King's Bench Powers and the Application for Leave to File a Supplemental Submission filed at 154 MM 2009 are DENIED.
This Court remanded this matter to the Court of Judicial Discipline "for the limited purpose of that court considering Petitioner's claims in the nature of after-discovered evidence, arising from the recent revelations of corruption in Luzerne County." 26 MM 2009, order dated 3/25/09. The Court of Judicial Discipline has not yet had the opportunity to complete that task. Once a final order is entered in that matter, Petitioner may, if she opts to file an appeal, raise preserved claims of error. Furthermore, to the extent that Petitioner requests that her salary and benefits as a jurist be reinstated immediately, that request is DENIED. See id.
