COMMONWEALTH PENNSYLVANIA v. ROOSEVELT WASHINGTON (03/05/82)

SUPERIOR COURT OF PENNSYLVANIA

March 5, 1982

COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA
v.
ROOSEVELT WASHINGTON, APPELLANT

No. 136 Philadelphia, 1981, Appeal from the Judgment of Sentence of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, Criminal Division, at No. 78-09-718/721

Before Brosky, Popovich and Montgomery, JJ.

Per Curiam:

Following a jury trial, appellant was found guilty of robbery and conspiracy. Post-trial motions for a new trial and in arrest of judgment were argued and denied. A motion based on ineffective assistance of trial counsel was raised and heard at a hearing March 10, 1980. Following judgment of sentence, appellant filed an appeal with our court. Because the trial court adequately dealt with all of the issues now raised on appeal, and committed no error of law, we affirm on the basis of the trial court's opinion, which will be used for allocatur purposes.
