This action was brought by plaintiff to recover deficiency tax assessments made by the District Director of the Internal Revenue in the total sum of $ 2,235.31 for taxpayer's income taxes for the years 1958 and 1959, and which amounts were paid by the plaintiff, The Edinboro Company. In 1955 the Edinboro Company purchased an 18 hole golf course situate on 166 acres of land for a flat sum of $ 200,000.00. On its books and records the purchase price was allocated as follows: Land $ 24,900.00 18-hole golf course improvements 117,100.00 Buildings 40,000.00 Equipment 18,000.00
